How to Contact Framer Support (2026): Chat, Email and Response Times

To contact Framer support, open the quick actions menu in the Framer editor, search for "Contact Support", and send your question to Framer's Product Experts. On paid plans the first reply comes within 24 hours. You can also use the form at framer.com/contact (up to 72 hours), and for billing or login problems email support@framer.com. If your site is down, use the Emergency button on the contact page and check framerstatus.com.

We build Framer plugins used by 2,000+ Framer users, so we see which questions end up with Framer and which end up with plugin makers like us. This guide covers every Framer support channel, what each one handles, and how to get a useful answer the first time.

Key Takeaways

  • Product questions: editor quick actions → "Contact Support" (first reply within 24h on paid plans) or framer.com/contact (within 72h).
  • Billing and login problems: support@framer.com, which Framer says is staffed around the clock.
  • Site down: the Emergency button on framer.com/contact, plus framerstatus.com for outages.
  • Framer support doesn't edit projects, debug custom code or support third-party plugins and components.
  • Free plan users rely on the help centre and community; product-expert support is for paid plans.

How to contact Framer support from the editor

This is the fastest route for paid plans:

  1. Open your project in Framer.
  2. Open the quick actions menu and search for "Contact Support".
  3. Describe the problem and send it to Framer's Product Experts.
  4. Watch for the reply in the app or your email. Framer lists up to 24 hours for the first response.

Contacting support from inside the project matters because the team can see which project you're asking about.

Framer support email

support@framer.com is Framer's address for billing and account issues: failed payments, invoices and login problems. For product questions, Framer routes you to in-app Contact Support or the contact page form, which replies by email.

The other published address is abuse@framer.com, for reporting abuse, spam or policy violations on sites hosted by Framer.

Framer support by plan

PlanSupport
FreeHelp centre and community; billing and login help via support@framer.com
Paid plansProduct Experts via in-app Contact Support (24h) or the contact page (72h)
EnterpriseProduct Specialists and, when needed, Engineering over Slack, Teams or email; onboarding, training and SLAs by contract

Framer reports a median first response under 10 minutes for Enterprise over the past 90 days, per its help centre.

What Framer support won't help with

Framer's support article lists three things it doesn't cover:

  • Changing your project for you. Support explains how to do something; it won't build it.
  • Code-related issues. Custom code components and overrides are yours to debug.
  • Third-party tools. Plugins and components from the Marketplace are supported by whoever made them.

For those, go to the creator. Every Marketplace plugin and component lists its creator, and most link to a support page or email. If you need hands-on help with a build, Framer's community has a directory of Framer Experts you can hire.

If the problem is with a FramerHub plugin, such as CMS Filter or Form Kit, directly. We support our own plugins.

Using a FramerHub plugin?

Framer support doesn't cover third-party plugins. We support ours directly: CMS Filter, Form Kit, Components and more.

Before you contact support

A complete first message saves a round of back-and-forth:

  • Check framerstatus.com first. If there's an outage, there's nothing to fix on your side.
  • Republish and hard-refresh. Many "my change isn't live" issues are an unpublished change or a cached page.
  • Include the project link and the exact page or breakpoint where the problem appears.
  • Write the steps to reproduce it, what you expected and what happened instead.
  • Attach a screen recording or screenshot.
  • Mention plugins or code components on the page. If removing one fixes the problem, it belongs with that creator.

Common Framer problems and where they get fixed

Most support tickets fall into a handful of patterns. Knowing which channel owns each one saves a day of waiting.

"My changes aren't showing on the live site"

Framer only updates the live site when you publish. Check that you published after your last edit, then hard-refresh the page or open it in a private window. If the published version still looks wrong, it's a product question for Contact Support; include the page URL and a screenshot of the editor next to the live page.

"My custom domain won't connect"

Domain connection depends on DNS records at your registrar, and changes can take time to propagate. Framer's domain settings show the records it expects. Compare them with what your registrar shows, then wait before retrying. If the records match and it still fails, send support the domain, the registrar and a screenshot of both screens.

"Form submissions aren't arriving"

Start with the form's own settings: where submissions are sent (email, Google Sheets or a webhook) and whether the latest version is published. Check spam folders for email delivery. If the form is a plugin or code component rather than Framer's native form, the plugin's creator supports it, not Framer.

"I've hit a plan limit"

Pages, CMS items, bandwidth and editors are capped per plan, and some caps can be raised with add-ons on Framer's pricing page. Plan and billing questions go to support@framer.com. If the limit is on what Framer can do rather than how much, such as filtering a large CMS collection, a plugin is usually the answer.

"A payment failed or I can't log in"

These go straight to support@framer.com or the billing option on the contact page. Framer says its billing team works around the clock.

Hit a CMS filtering limit, not a bug?

CMS Filter adds multi-field search, range sliders, facets with counts and sorting to Framer CMS collections. Support comes from us, the team that builds it.

A support message template

Copy this into Contact Support and fill it in:

Project: <project link>
Page / breakpoint: <URL or page name, desktop/tablet/phone>
What I did: <steps, in order>
What I expected: <one line>
What happened: <one line, plus screenshot or screen recording>
Plugins or code components on this page: <names, or "none">
Plan: <Basic / Pro / Enterprise>

The last two lines matter most. They tell support straight away whether the issue is theirs or a third party's, and whether your plan includes the feature you're asking about.

Free help that's often faster

  • Framer help centre (framer.com/help): official articles for most setup questions.
  • Framer community: other designers answer questions, often the same day.
  • Framer Experts: paid help from experienced Framer builders when you need someone to do the work.

Common how-to questions have long-form answers too. Our and cover two of the areas people most often ask support about.

Up to 24 hours for a first response through in-app Contact Support and up to 72 hours through the contact page, on paid plans. Enterprise runs on contract SLAs.
